These terms and conditions apply to all purchases made through the marketplace, in addition to all other associated products that are available to order on this website. GUSTATORY is a marketplace company and thereby acts as an agent for each of our independent coffee roasters, tea makers, winemakers and brands, all of which are herein referred to as the ‘supplier’.
For any purchases, you will be entering into a contract with the supplier(s) you have purchased from. Accordingly, in addition to the terms and conditions of GUSTATORY, the terms and conditions of the supplier(s) will apply to your purchase. You agree to be bound by these terms and conditions, as well as the terms and conditions of the supplier(s). We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions of use from time to time. If this happens, we will notify you by posting the new terms and conditions for buying goods online on the website.
Terms & Conditions Contract Of Sale(s)
These are the terms in which the GUSTATORY marketplace offers and sells it's coffee, tea, wine, other drinks, equipment and all other associated products to you. When making an online purchase, we will arrange for you to enter into a contract with the supplier(s) (e.g. coffee roasters, tea makers, winemakers, brands) named on your receipt(s). We can connect you with a single supplier of the products, into which you will enter a single contract, or, if your purchase is with multiple suppliers, you will have separate contracts with each of them individually. As a marketplace acting as an agent to the sale, we can accept no responsibility for the acts or omissions of the supplier(s) or for the products provided by them, in which all information that is published on the GUSTATORY marketplace is provided by each supplier(s). Supplier(s)' terms and conditions, which may include, and are not limited to, product quality, product freshness, product expiry dates, delivery timeframes, accepted countries of customer address, et cetera, will also apply to your purchase. If you wish to know more about any supplier(s)' information, please speak to us prior to making a purchase from the supplier(s) you wish to learn more about.
Our Terms of Business are governed by English Law and the jurisdiction of the English Courts. You may, however, choose the law and jurisdiction of Scotland or Northern Ireland if you wish to do so. All coffee, tea, wine, other drinks, equipment and all other associated products which we make available on the GUSTATORY marketplace are not an offer by us to sell, but are available by invitation for you to make an financial offer to the product(s) supplier(s). We are free to accept that offer on behalf of those supplier(s), or to reject it.
Purchasing Process & Payment Authorisation
You will be required to make full payment for your goods when purchasing. Payments must be made by debit card or credit card via one of our payment gateway providers (Shopify / Paypal / Google Pay / Klarna / ZIP / Apple Pay). Please note orders will be dispatched only once we have authorisation from your payment card issuer. We will not be liable if there is a delay, and we will not accept your order if payment is not authorised. Certain steps are followed for a contract to be formed, as described below, after you have placed your order. All documents (e.g. invoices/receipts) will be emailed to the address provided at the time of purchase.
Customer Service & Complaints
As a family-owned company, customer service is one of our absolute priorities. As the contract(s) of sale(s) for your coffee, tea, wine, other drinks, equipment and all other associated product purchases is between you and the supplier(s), any queries or concerns will be processed by us and shall be addressed to them for their attention. If you have any problem with any purchase(s), this must be reported to us immediately. We will do our utmost to assist, priding ourselves on having a quick and pro-active customer service team. However, failure to contact us within a timely manner of any issue will result in there being less of a window of opportunity for us to investigate and rectify your complaint. The amount of compensation you may be entitled to may be reduced or you may not receive any at all depending upon the circumstances.

All payments made by Direct Debit are protected by the Direct Debit Guarantee.
