Delivery Status  |  07//26 (JULY)

Our usual on-time delivery service is currently active for 07//26 (JULY), with no known disruptions to customs or deliveries currently being experienced for our next dispatch period. Just how we like it - happy days!

07//26 (JULY) ships from 26th June (est.). Subscribe before 30th June to enjoy

Our current dispatch period is unfortunately partially disrupted in terms of one inbound delivery from Friedhats with a normal delivery schedule for almost all subscribers (slightly later than usual due tot he double bank holidays where logistics and roasteries weren't open).

Currently Experiencing

30/04/2025: Friedhats' delivery is currently located at our local airport (UK) and has been pending customs release for 2 days. Still only 30th April, we're also dispatching a few days later than normal due to the Easter holidays and its impact on roasteries being open and logistics operating last week.

Still only 2nd February and a date in advance of our usual dispatch timeframe, we hope this partial delay will pass as soon as possible and all will be resolved this week.

Situation Remedy

UPDATE 07/05/2025: We are now awaiting just one Friedhats delivery, still in customs, and have now been able to dispatch 98% of subscriptions as normal. We are working hard to resolve this and for those affected, we will dispatch on 24 hour postage. For everyone affected who receive more than one coffee, we have today split parcelled your delivery, and your Friedhats will follow once it arrives. Really many apologies for their delay.

Luckily given the dates / days, dispatching on Monday 5-6th isn't too far from our normal monthly schedule (1st-4th) and within 30 days from our later than normal January New Years dispatch, so hopefully all feels as normal.

1  For all not-yet dispatched parcels, they will be upgraded from 48 hour to a 24 hour Royal Mail service.

2  If our inbound delivery is delayed further than 5-6th, we will split parcel everyone's parcels and you can (hopefully!) expect The Barn to follow in a second delivery.

3  Our aim and hope is everyone's will be dispatched by Tuesday 6th.

For one bag subcribers allocated to receive Kolibri, we therefore have nothing to send to you. We have done our best to minimise the number of Kolibri allocated one bag subscribers by substituting another of the featuring roasters where we can, but for some, we are short with nothing left. For these remaining affected subscribers, we have emailed you with our solution.

Should Kolibri not be able to ever pass customs and be undeliverable, we will of course credit your subscription by the price of your missing bag(s).

A non-delivery isn't at all the service we wish to serve and whilst far out of GUSTATORY's and Kolibri's control, we fully apologise for this month's inconvenience - we're still trying and hoping for the best. For any update changes, please do check this status section at a future time.

Our Efforts

We fully believe in transparency and whilst we hear that our hard efforts in importing the best of international roasters are hugely appreciated, we've a fine balance of carefully choreographing roast dates (for coffee freshness), international delivery timeframes and all importation procedures. Despite our extensive Customs & Imports expertise, customs delays out of our control can occur from time to time.

A one stop quick reference location, we use this Delivery Status feature to transparently and honestly communicate customs or delivery delays that we're experiencing behind the scenes during our dispatch periods, if ever any. We also outline our situation remedy and offered compensation.
