In 2010, coffee roaster Kurt founded Volcano Coffee Works, on a mission to introduce the world to better coffee - better tasting, better for the environment and better for the people who grow it. From Kurt’s kitchen to the brand's permanent site in Brixton, London, Volcano Coffee Works is one of the best independent coffee roasters in the UK.

As a roasters, they believe in environmentally sustainable and ethically traded coffee, working with partners all over the world who actively engage community-based improvements. Their ethical trading principles ensure that their successes benefit the entire supply chain and beyond, from direct initiatives at origin to local communities in the UK.
