GUSTATORY SENZU

SENZU Speciality Coffee Roasters

SENZU was born from head roaster's Diogo's desire to share his love of coffee with the world. Before SENZU, Diogo took all possible and imaginable courses on everything there is to know about coffee. Later, he started to give roasting courses at university level and meanwhile he is also one of the founders and instructors of abcoffee, the first coffee school in Porto with approval from the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA).

As Diogo already teaches what he knows about coffee to college and abcoffee students, it would be legitimate to think that he would leave normal customers alone. However, SENZU quickly realized that assuming this is a big mistake: he will continue to tell you the tiniest details that you no longer want to know about the coffee beans that are in front of you.

Sourced from all around the world, at SENZU you can find coffee beans with unique quality and characteristics. They challenge you to discover their coffees and unearth their different aromas and flavours. In short, you will not regret it.

These relationships also protect producers as roasters often commit to fixed term and fixed price contracts, which give producers certainty. This certainty is what producers need in order to not only survive but thrive, committing to sustainable practices and addressing other global problems that are threatening the industry such as climate change.

Make their commitment your commitment. Support independent coffee roasters and you’ll be making a difference before you even have your first cup of coffee.
