GUSTATORY PUCKPUCK

PUCKPUCK Brewing Equipment

PUCKPUCK has been developed to accompany the Aeropress coffee maker, allowing you to make a smooth, naturally sweet cold dripped coffee - wherever you go. PUCKPUCK wanted to make coldbrew, portable, accessible and fun, proving that you don’t need to spend a lot of money to have great tasting cold brew at home or on your travels.

Born out of a desire to create an affordable, portable cold brew system that doesn’t compromise on taste, the PUCKPUCK’s creators focused on making Kyoto drip style cold brew using the much loved Aeropress hot coffee maker. Simple to set up, with its patent pending twist valve, the PUCKPUCK slowly drips water through a bed of coffee over a period of 2-3 hours. The result is a delicate and nuanced flavour profile closer to what you would expect from a ‘filter’ coffee. By repurposing the Aeropress filter and chamber PUCKPUCK is able to be more compact and affordable than larger traditional cold brew systems.

Designed from the outset to be as small as possible and to work with leading brand mineral water bottles, PUCKPUCK is the first truly pocketable cold brew system. The PUCKPUCK can also be paired with the matching VESSEL which has been designed to work holistically with both the Aeropress coffee maker and the PUCKPUCK creating an all in one system that not only works well but is designed to look good in your home. The PUCKPUCK is made from the same polypropylene material as the Aeropress. It is BPA free and robust enough to be thrown in a bag and endure the rigours of everyday life.

A home-brewed quality coffee is far less expensive than cafes

...Whilst the purse strings may need to tighten, a better quality home-brewed coffee is still far less expensive than buying individual drinks on the go. Over the last few years, many have taken the opportunity to improve their home brewing skills, and now with the equipment and know-how to recreate that authentic coffee shop experience from home, are enjoying cheaper quality coffees. With cafe coffees costing anything from £2.50-4.00 each, and with a bag of 250g quality coffee costing between £7.00-12.50 and providing you with enough to achieve up to 15-35 brews per bag (depending on brew method and strength preferences), the savings and better quality coffee are both there to be enjoyed.

If this isn't you, there really is no better time to start. Better yet, at GUSTATORY you’ll find plenty of affordable multi-roaster coffee subscription packages, all featuring the most exciting roasters from Europe, UK, Australia and USA. It also won't be long until you discover a new favourite. All coffees are roasted fresh for us as part of our monthly subscription delivery schedules.
