DT Coffee School Coffee Roasters

With over 12 years in the coffee industry, numerous championship titles and a veracious passion for sharing his knowledge, Dhan Tamang's DT Coffee School is able to offer a unique training experience to students like no other. Holding the UK Latte Art Champion title for 6 years consecutively, as well as a finalist in the 2016 World Latte Art Championships, Dhan Tamang is a prolific figure in the international coffee scene.

Dhan Tamang wanted to contribute more to the industry by sharing his wealth of coffee skills and knowledge with the public (sharing is caring as he always says); the more you share, the more the value of the coffee industry will grow. As a result, Tamang decided that the most influential way his caring, sharing values could become a material reality would be to release a book educating people about the artistic elements of coffee. So, in 2017 with the help of the Octopus Publishing Group, Dhan released his first ever book appropriately titled “Coffee Art”.

Through direct-to-source relationships, roasters are able to protect their supply chains from the effects of price volatility as they form special relationships with producers. These relationships also protect producers as roasters often commit to fixed term and fixed price contracts, which give producers certainty. This certainty is what producers need in order to not only survive but thrive, committing to sustainable practices and addressing other global problems that are threatening the industry such as climate change.

Make their commitment your commitment. Support independent coffee roasters and you’ll be making a difference before you even have your first cup of coffee.
