About (un)ordinary Oat M*lk

Drink alt. m*lks? It’s hard to find quality taste and texture in an oat drink that doesn’t overpower your coffee or tea. As farmers themselves who are passionate about coffee, (un)ordinary have created the perfect oat drink to compliment both single origins and blends. Being farmers, (un)ordinary know how to grow oats to develop a pure, earthy taste; coffee enthusiasts too, (un)ordinary have created a formula that produces smooth, consistent microfoam.

Being made from 100% British oats is important. The sustainability and global emissions impact of certain alternative m*lk ingredients is widely talked about and there are two important considerations related to this in differentiating between which brand you'd like to enjoy. The reality of alternative m*lk ingredients is that many cause widespread deforestation and affect local ecosystems in their production, but also, are typically farmed in a far-away country that therefore requires long-distance logistics thus incurring unnecessary transport emissions. One such big name comes from Sweden, for example. With a high emphasis on traceable, British farmed oats and having thoughtful, recyclable packaging for the environment, look no further than (un)ordinary oat m*lk.

Providing the perfect texture to any espresso to make latte art look like a walk in the park, (un)ordinary oat m*lk will give a creamy boost to morning cereals, granny’s recipes, coffee and tea. Plant-based too, (un)ordinary oat m*lk is suitable for all vegans and vegetarians. For GUSTATORY and speciality coffee baristas, (un)ordinary are our best recommendation.

A home-brewed quality coffee is far less expensive than cafes

Issue: With the continuing economic uncertainty that COVID and the cost-of-living crisis brings, many are tightening the purse strings and choosing cheaper alternatives. However...For more: Comunicaffe International
...Whilst the purse strings may need to tighten, a better quality home-brewed coffee or tea is still far less expensive than buying individual drinks on the go. Over the last few years, many have taken the opportunity to improve their home brewing skills, and now with the equipment and know-how to recreate that authentic coffee shop experience from home, are enjoying cheaper quality coffees. With cafe coffees costing anything from £2.50-4.00 each, and with a bag of 250g quality coffee costing between £7.00-12.50 and providing you with enough to achieve up to 15-35 brews per bag (depending on brew method and strength preferences), the savings and better quality coffee are both there to be enjoyed.

If this isn't you, there really is no better time to start, and better yet, at GUSTATORY you’ll find plenty of affordable coffee subscription packages. It also won't be long until you discover a new favourite. All coffees are roasted fresh for us as part of our monthly subscription delivery schedules.
