Raw Chocolate Bliss Bar - Golden Turmeric

These special, raw chocolate bars are handcrafted and stoneground by Wunder Workshops friend Pablo at Forever Cacao who sources wild, single-origin Criollo cacao from Peru where it is harvested and fermented by Asháninka tribespeople.

We ethically source our turmeric from small community farms in the heart of Sri Lanka, where the combination of rich fertile soil and warm sunlight promote the growth of this Wunder spice and we boost this bar with our Golden Mylk turmeric latter blend.

- Packaging: 100% recyclable outer carton, printed with vegetable inks. Inner foil is home-compostable.

- Certified Organic Ingredients

Cacao solids (55%) (raw Criollo cacao paste, cacao butter), Golden Mylk® blend (coconut milk powder, turmeric (2%), Ceylon cinnamon, black pepper), coconut sugar.

Have you ever had a bite of chocolate and felt instantly blissful and relaxed as though everything is right in the world? Well scientists believe that feeling may be due to anandamide - a molecule found naturally in our bodies, but also in chocolate. Anandamide is described from the Sanskrit word “ananda”, which translates to “bliss, joy and delight” because of the actions it is believed to have on our mood.

How does anandamide work? Anandamide is a neurotransmitter, a molecule that helps in the signalling through our brain and nervous system, and also an endocannabinoid, which is a compound produced in the body that binds to cannabinoid (CB1 and CB2) receptors in the brain and throughout the body that form our endocannabinoid system. The endocannabinoid system plays an important role in the maintenance of many physiological and psychological processes throughout our central and peripheral nervous system, the former being responsible for mood and the latter our immune system and homeostasis.

A home-brewed quality coffee is far less expensive than cafes

Issue: With the continuing economic uncertainty that COVID and the cost-of-living crisis brings, many are tightening the purse strings and choosing cheaper alternatives. However...For more: Comunicaffe International
...Whilst the purse strings may need to tighten, a better quality home-brewed coffee or tea is still far less expensive than buying individual drinks on the go. Over the last few years, many have taken the opportunity to improve their home brewing skills, and now with the equipment and know-how to recreate that authentic coffee shop experience from home, are enjoying cheaper quality coffees. With cafe coffees costing anything from £2.50-4.00 each, and with a bag of 250g quality coffee costing between £7.00-12.50 and providing you with enough to achieve up to 15-35 brews per bag (depending on brew method and strength preferences), the savings and better quality coffee are both there to be enjoyed.

If this isn't you, there really is no better time to start, and better yet, at GUSTATORY you’ll find plenty of affordable options from our huge range of quality independent roasters and brands from across UK, Europe and North America to support you in doing just that. With it easy to browse and shop for coffee on the marketplace or subscribe to a coffee subscription, it also won't be long until you discover a new favourite. All marketplace purchases are shipped direct for product freshness, with all subscriptions roasted fresh for us as part of our monthly delivery schedules.
