Kedungu 2017 Red Blend Wine

A wine that has South African soul while nodding to southern France, in sunglasses, with a surfboard tucked under its arm. It is named after a surf spot in Bali that is special to Jurgen; he feels the energy he picked up there on a hungover surf was transferred into the wine. Spicy and herbal, you can picture the bush vines and shrubbery that create this wine. It envelopes you in fennel and wild thyme, with fresh blackcurrant notes that taste like the berries you pick straight off the bush. Lipsmacking but equally serious, with graphite and stony undertones, it will linger on your palate for many minutes after you've finished the bottle.
