Arbois 'Guille-Bouton' 2018 Chardonnay Wine

A wine that flexes its muscles at the start of the race, eyeing up its Burgundy opponents. It's a wine that doesn't just stand on par with fine Chardonnays from Burgundy and around the world, but one that stands on its own. Crunchy and saline, this really does taste how we'd imagine its limestone soils to taste. It is dense and full of flavour, but remains elegantly fresh. The mineral side of the wine stays on your tongue for an eternity, reminding us why Chardonnay is so often considered the king of white grapes. When made with care like this, there are few wines that can beat it.
