Amongst the misty foothills of the snow capped Himalayas, nestles the “Champagne of Indian tea”, Darjeeling.
The first flush of teas from Darjeeling are a tea connoisseur's treasure. They're the product of harsh Himalayan winters which reduce leaf moisture and concentrate the flavours, helping the tea retain its deeply aromatic, grassy and astringent notes. From Teesta Valley Tea Garden we bring you a Darjeeling from the very first first week of the season - it provides the greatest example of style. It's delicate, floral, gentle, and it could well make you look at your cup with wonder.
Food pairing: An exquisite treat on its own, or with fresh fruits like apples, apricots, strawberries, delicate sweet treats, grilled fish.
