Tea Cultivar: Koshun
- Appearance: Transluscent, pale green coloured infusion.
- Aroma: Sweet, refreshing floral notes (gardenia, rose)
- Flavour: Sweet, floral, grassy, fresh vegetal (bell pepper)
- Mouthfeel: Smooth, light-bodied, rounded liquor and refreshing finish.
- Measure 3g of tea per 150ml water. Boil water to 70℃. Steep for 1 1/2 - 2 minutes.

Our Sencha Koshun Oolong (JAS-ORGANIC) comes from a JAS-certified organic tea garden that uses sustainable, environmental-friendly, solar energy for tea production in Shizuoka, Japan. For those who haven't been to Japan, Shizuoka is Japanese green tea capital where many celebrated Japanese tea gardens are located with a scenic view of the famous Mountain Fuji.
Made from carefully grown tea leaves of the rare and highly fragrant, Koshun cultivar, which then have been masterfully crafted into a beautiful, dark green needle shape, our Sencha Koshun offers a sweet, refreshing infusion with highly floral and fresh vegetal notes.
When we first tasted this tea, we were so impressed by its sweet refreshing flavour. We thought that we could have been mistaken this tea for Baozhong (Taiwanese lightly oxidised oolong with highly refreshing floral note), if we would have blind-tasted it.
