This coffee comes from the Munkaze washing station, which processes coffee from the Ephrem Family Farm and 815 smaller growers from surrounding farms. In the last Cup of Excellence competition, their coffee took 2nd place. At the Munkaze processing station, they pay special attention to quality. All coffees are hand-picked at full maturity and carefully sorted. After fermentation, the coffee is dried on raised African beds in order for the coffee to achieve optimum humidity and the perfect aroma.
This cup of coffee offers you perfectly balanced malic acids that are interwoven with honey notes. The coffee is full-bodied and the sweet fruit acids are complemented by the tannins of black tea.
