El Salvador Finca Menendez Coffee

Piedra Grande is located in the Apaneca Ilamatepec Range on the cerro Laguna de las Ranas. The extension of the farm is of 40 Hectares, of which 38 are cultivated with coffee and 2ha are left for internal roads.

The plantation is made up of 100% Arabica Bourbon, and the average age of the coffee trees is 15 years, with a total of 5,000 coffee trees per hectare. The shade canopy is composed of native trees and Inga trees with an average of 120 shade trees per hectare. The yearly average production for this plantation is 1,260 bags of 69 kilograms for export.
