Deri Kocha Ethiopia Filter Coffee

Deri Kocha is a kebele in the Guji region and is where this Kelloo Lot 5 comes from. It is a privately owned communal wetmill in the Hambela Wamena area of Guji. They collect and buy cherries from various smallholders and are working here to increase the quality through  better preparation at the washing station. Much of it is prepared and graded as Grade 1.

Over seven hundred smallholder farmers deliver tiny amounts of cherries daily to the wet miller from farms less than 2 hectares in size. Most coffees are organic by default.

Flavours: Blueberries, chocolate, funk
Origin: Guji, Ethiopia
Varietal: Heirloom
Process: Washed
Cupping score: 88
