The long-awaited Ethiopia Siko finally arrived to Hard Beans from Africa. She captivated them with her crisp, lime and plum flavour. Tea notes characteristic of the region, which appear in the form of Earl Gray aromas, did not disappoint. Due to the specificity of this coffee, we recommend brewing it in a chemex or drip, which will bring out its full taste potential from Ethiopia.
Ethiopia Siko is coffee that Hard Beans have obtained thanks to the cooperation with Collaborative Coffee Source and Snap Coffee, who have been licensed exporters in Ethiopia for 10 years. They are especially pleased that it is a raw material from the Gaduio Uraga region because until 2018, coffee from small plantations (less than 30 ha) could only be sold by a special organization ECX (Ethiopian Coffee Exchange), which meant there was only limited the availability of Ethiopian coffees on the specialty market.
