Since Oven Heavens return from Australia in 2017, they have been obsessed with finding a Mexican coffee that will make you say 'Wow!'. Last year, they were fortunate enough to receive Jesus Salazar in their shop, who talked at length about the ignorance in the specialty coffee market with regard to the work done in Mexico and more particularly in San Cristobal.
As a result, they are now offering an exceptional batch from the farm of Cecilia Vasquez who, accompanied by Cafeologo, has developed a naturally processed version of her usual lot (traditionally, Cecilia has produced washed coffees). Cecilia produces her coffee on a small plot in a preserved ecosystem (the products are not certified but follow the rules of organic farming).
In the cup you'll find red fruit notes with lots of sugar and a juicy finish that will make you want to come back for more! A fine example of what Mexico has on offer.
